Accidents or Illness can happen. To help protect you and provide financial security in times of illness, we offer a robust Short Term Disability benefit through a Salary Continuation Policy. Additionally, Long Term Disability Insurance coverage provided by Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company, is provided at no cost to you.
You may receive STD benefits for up to 26 weeks for an approved disability. If eligible, the first 13 weeks of your absence will be paid at 100% of your normal base pay. Weeks 14-26 see a reduction to 67% of your normal rate. After 5 years of service, then all 26 weeks of your STD would be paid at 100%.
If eligible, LTD benefits provide for 60% of your regular, base pay. Long Term Disability is an insurance product offered through Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company.
