At Intercept & Alfasigma USA we provide a strong subsidy on the cost of healthcare benefits and provide important financial security programs such as Life Insurance of 3x your base pay and Long Term Disability, at no cost to each employee.
401(k) Plan
Currently, the company operates two identical 401(k) plans – the Alfasigma USA 401(k) Plan and the Intercept Pharmaceuticals 401(k) Plan.
Participation in the Retirement Savings 401(k) Plan gives you the opportunity to make pretax or Roth contributions out of your base and/or your eligible variable (i.e. bonus) pay. For ultimate flexibility, you can make separate elections at different levels for the different eligible compensation types.
The Company matches 100% up to your first 5% of eligible contributions you make.
Plan eligibility begins the first of the month following your hire date. You are always 100% vested in your own contributions, and company matching contributions will vest after one (1) complete year of service.
